Appearance: Kin is one subhuman who has difficulty appearing fully human. In his human form he has short red hair with two long red feathers trailing down his back, and yellow eyes. In subhuman form he also sports two large wings of red feathers sprouting from his shoulder blades. In both forms he has a birthmark that looks like two red stripes on his right cheek. Kin usually wears black pants and a long-sleeve black shirt, torn, with a black fishnet shirt underneath, along with black boots. To compliment his dark outfit he wears a bright red sash tied around his waist.
Personality: Kin is usually happy and fun loving, with a lot of energy. He trusts people until they give him a reason not to. He also has a fiery sense of right and wrong, and if he is wronged it’s hard for him to trust that person again. He will fight strongly for what he believes in. Kin is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve, hardly ever hiding his emotions.
Interests: Kin enjoys singing and song writing. He is the lead singer for Lightless Divinity and sometimes composes songs for them.
Relationships: Kin has been friends with Moru since they were very young, and feels he has to keep Moru out of trouble. He wants to start a serious relationship, but hasn’t met anyone who takes him seriously yet.

Special abilities: Kin can control fire. If he is near a fire he can make it grow or shrink, or encourage it to move anywhere he wants. He can summon a very small ball of fire out of nothing and keep it in his palm, but doesn’t have the ability to do more than that without a source of fire already started.
Personal history: Kin comes from a middle-income family in downtown Kyoto. His parents raise him and his brothers with unconditional love and try to teach them about life as honestly as they can. Thanks to his family, Kin manages to keep a cheerful disposition throughout his life, despite being judged unfairly by some people in society because of his subhuman attributes. He is currently attending public high school.
Family: Kin’s father is a quiet lemur subhuman, while his mother is normal. Kin has two younger brothers who are twin, nine-year-old fox subhumans.
