Karasuki Kiyomi (Kiyo) Name: Karasuki Kiyomi (Kiyo)
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Subhuman form: White tiger
Element: Wind

Appearance: Kiyo enjoys portraying himself as a punk. He wears his white hair short and spiky, and dresses in tight black jeans and shirt, with a brown leather jacket. His yellow eyes complete his startling appearance. In his subhuman form Kiyo has pointed cat ears on top of his head and a tiger tail, both white with black stripes. He has more trouble controlling his animal features than most subhumans, and often keeps his tail tucked into his pants, unable to make it disappear. His ears give him less trouble, but if he can’t make them disappear he wears a brown “Newsies” cap from New York.
Personality: It’s hard to get to know Kiyo, because he’s very standoffish. In a group, he’s the person who does not speak or join in with the others unless directly asked. He keeps people away with a piercing glare. The few who get to know the quiet boy find out that he can have quite a temper, but can also get along well with others. He has a high opinion of himself and speaks as if his opinions are fact. His personality can change as easily as his element, the wind. A refreshing breeze can all-too-quickly become a raging typhoon if Kiyo’s mood takes a turn for the worst.
Interests: Kept on a full schedule by his mother, Kiyo has a lot of extracurricular activities, but few things he would consider his personal interests. He speaks four languages (Japanese, English, Mandarin Chinese, French) and plays the piano and cello, as well as runs track. He also takes special lessons on business. For Lightless Divinity, he plays the keyboard.
Relationships: Kiyo’s personality keeps most people at bay. He is convinced all people will treat him with prejudice because he’s a subhuman, and also from a wealthy family. In old-fashioned tradition, his parents will be the ones to choose a bride for him when he’s old enough, making sure a good match is made for the family business. Kiyo is convinced they won’t consider his feelings at all. Because of all this, he has no plans of a deep relationship with anyone.

Special abilities: Kiyo is a master of wind. He can move the air even in a closed room, creating a light breeze or a whipping wind. He’s practicing to gain enough control to summon a specific object from across the room and bring it to his hand by wind, but hasn’t reached that level of finesse yet.
Personal history: Kiyo was born as the heir to the Karasuki family. His parents raise him to take over the family business, making sure he’s well rounded in many subjects. He doesn’t attend any schools, instead being privately tutored in his home. Kiyo accepts the responsibility of being the Karasuki heir, but hates all the restrictions it puts on him. He gets away from his home to hang out in the city as often as he can.
Family: To put it bluntly, the Karasuki family is stinking rich. They own several companies that manufacture computers and invent new computer technology. His mother, a crane subhuman, runs the household with an almost stifling hand. They are one of the only subhuman families in the world of celebrities, and many people would want to ruin their success. Her husband, a black panther subhuman, is a meek man who doesn’t mind his wife running the family. Kiyo is their only child, but his uncle (his father’s brother, another black panther subhuman) also lives with them.
