Appearance: Moru is one of the uncommon subhumans without physical animal characteristics. He only has a human form, though his short green hair shows he’s a subhuman. He wears two tank tops, a green one with black ties and a simple black one underneath. He has green shorts with black stripes on them, red suspenders that he leaves loose around his waist, and black and red sneakers. His favorite accessories are his black leather armbands. He has light green eyes.
Personality: Moru hides behind a confident personality. He appears very popular and flirtatious in public, usually surrounded by a gang of people, all chatting away. The type of people he hangs out with sometimes gets him into risky situations. He’s been inside several seedy clubs, despite being underage. However, behind his façade Moru is anxious and lonely, and not confident at all. His troubled family life leads him to hide his true self, thinking no one would like him if he acted how he truly felt.
Interests: Moru likes his position as drum player for Lightless Divinity, but his true love is his green thumb. He would be happy doing nothing more than tending his houseplants and gardens. He also likes to swim for recreation.
Relationships: Moru has had more relationships than any of the other boys in the band. He’s experimented with girlfriends and boyfriends in the past. However, he’s been bad at choosing partners, and some of his past relationships have treated him badly. The only one who’s been with him from the beginning, his best friend, is Kin. Kin tries to keep Moru out of trouble. . . .

Special abilities: Because Moru’s subhuman animal is the turtle, he is able to swim very well and hold his breath underwater for up to twenty minutes. His element of earth allows him a form of communication with plants. He can understand them the way normal people can understand a pet dog or cat’s simple needs. Moru can encourage plants to grow faster than normal, taking the shape that he wants.
Personal history: Moru’s had a hard time in life. His parents died in a car accident when he was very young, and since then his older brother has been raising him. However, his older brother treats him cruelly, berating Moru verbally and sometimes striking him. He blames Moru for their parents’ death. Moru has long since learned to stay out of his home as often as possible. He attends the public high school with Kin.
Family: Taichi is Moru’s abusive older brother. He and their parents (now deceased) were normal humans, with Moru being the first subhuman in his family. They were both kind parents until their tragic deaths.
